This conference is in the series of The Asian Conference on Heat Treatment of Materials (1st, 1998, Beijing China; 2nd, 2001, Shimane Japan; 3rd, 2005, Gyeongju Korea), with title being changed – The Asian Conference on Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering – to have consistency with the title of IFHTSE Congress and conference series, and to include papers from the field of surface engineering.
This conference is to provide a forum for reviewing the latest advances in heat treatment and surface engineering, and discussing the challenges and opportunities of the years to come. This event is also an opportunity for the Asian heat treatment and surface engineering community to exchange ideas and information, meet and make friends, and conduct business in a paralleled international exhibition.
